The 8th Annual HK Prize Winners Announced

Today (September 25), the Hong Kong Museum of History and Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture successfully concluded their eighth Inter-school Competition of Study Projects on Hong Kong History and Culture, designed to deepen students’ understanding of Hong Kong’s historical development and culture, encourage active learning outside class settings, and explore any correlations between Hong Kong development and changes in society.

On Wednesday evening at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, this year’s winners of hk Prize were revealed during a glittering ceremony attended by prominent local singers who provided guests with an entertaining performance. Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered a speech praising the achievements of laureates while thanking prize sponsors for their support. He noted the Yidan Prize’s goal to create a better world through education, encouraging individuals and teams alike to strive for excellence.
